Providing the right profile information is important in the online world. People do not see your face but they make their judgments by looking at your personal identification provided in your profile. If you fail to impress people you are talking with, you will not gain a good self image.

So, here are the steps to edit the MSN Messenger profile:

Open the MSN Messenger software and log in into your account by inserting your username & password. The main windows which contain all of your contact information will show up.

Go to the “tools” in the menu bar then choose “option”. In the left hand side there is a tab called “personal”. Click that tab. At this menu, you will see a button called “edit profile”. When you click this button, MSN will open a new browser window.

There are many tabs in this window. Choose the “web appearance” tab from the menu on the left hand side of the profile. In this area, you can also change your picture by clicking the “browse” button.

You can upload your own picture from your hard drive or even find the picture on the net and hyperlink it to your profile. At the bottom, you can edit your personal identification such as your current occupation, location, interest and hobby.
